Jeffery Grimes serves as an Elder at Centerpoint Church, a Sergeant First Class in the Mississippi Army National Guard, a Wire Technician for AT&T, a husband, and a father of four. Answering the call to ministry as a teenager, Jeff enlisted in the National Guard as a Religious Affairs Specialist, a role which would allow him to serve God, his country, and his fellow soldiers. With a passion for connection, Jeff has served for over 23 years as a citizen soldier, deploying to Kuwait and Iraq 3 times along with multiple stateside deployments. In the Church, Jeff has served in many positions throughout the years. He has been a pastor, youth pastor, worship minister, and worship team member.
Jeff has been married to Holly for 13 years, raising two girls and two boys. Being adopted himself and adopting others, Jeff understands that family is more than just blood. As a believer in Christ, he firmly believes that it is not our past which defines us, but God and the purpose to which we dedicate our lives. God left His home in Heaven, lived as a man, with all the pain and temptations that we have, to redeem us as His children, taking our sins on Himself, so that we may live with Him forever.
