As we arrive right here at Christmas, we’re wrapping up our Names of God sermon series with a powerful and hope-filled name: Immanuel — “God with us.” In Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:22–23, we’re reminded that the Christmas story is the fulfillment of God’s promise—God stepping into humanity through Jesus. Christmas isn’t just about a moment in history; it’s about a present reality. Immanuel means that in every season, joy or hardship, God is with us. Listen as we reflect on the miracle of Christmas and celebrate the nearness of God’s presence—promised long ago and fulfilled in Christ.
